Used opened package but device works great
I received a previously-used EAP670. I know this because the mounting plate had dirty scuff marks around the screw holes and I couldn't login using default username & password. I had to depress the reset button to reset it. Aside from this unpleasant experience, the device works great. One EAP670 covers 3 floors of my house (~900 sq. feet/floor). Every device stays connected to the 5G radio from all locations within the house: (iPhone 12, two iPad Mini 5's, Macbook Air M2, HP Envy laptop, Occulus). I walked outside about 50' from the access point with my iPhone and I could see that my connection automatically switched from 5G to 2.4G. Very pleased. It works much better than my previous MikroTik "WAPac". It is completely compatible with my much-loved MikroTik RB5009 router.I had to mount the EAP670 on the wall with the TP-Link logo upside down in order to align it with the previous hole in the wall that feeds the 1Gig network cable (SEE PHOTO). I purchased the TP-Link PoE4824G PoE injecter to power the EAP670 because I had no power receptacle nearby for plugging in the included power adapter.
